Mark is the Director General of the Institute of Economic Affairs, and will be giving the Liberty League Freedom Forum 2012 Friday After-Dinner Speech on the challenges, opportunities and threats faced by the pro-liberty movement. Before coming to the IEA he worked in political communications and public affairs, was Campaigns Director of the human rights group Liberty, founded the NO2ID campaign which opposed identity cards and the database state, was Head of Media for the Liberal Democrats, and co-founder of the classical liberal think tank Progressive Vision.
